Hillary Juliette
Owner/Lead Stylist
Hillary Juliette was homegrown on the south shore of Oahu. She left the islands to receive her formal training at a multi-ethnic hair school in Oakland, California, as well as additional workshop courses at Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco, Bumble & Bumble Salon in New York City & American Crew of Colorado.
Hillary returned home to Oahu with a dedication to precession & spent several years gaining hands-on experience as a stylist at Macy's Ala Moana before she turned her dreams into reality and opened Winam Studio on 12/12/2012
Hillary Juliette has over a decade of experience & is passionate about her craft. She expresses herself through haircutting and is constantly growing herself as an artist.

Hair Assistant
Zabella has been working for Winam alongside Hillary for several years now, and they bring a unique perspective to the Hair Studio. They're here to help make you feel comfortable and hype you up.

House Dog, friendly, loves pets, will sit in your lap if you want her to, or respect your space if you're not a dog person.
Hillary did a great job asking me questions about what I like and don't like about my current hairstyle, what type of hairstyle was I leaning toward, whether my lifestyle was active or not, etc. All the important things she needed to know she asked right off the bat while she was combing my hair and (most likely) assessing its condition. Hillary did a wonderful cutting my hair to match my wash-and-go-busy-with-dogs-all-day-long lifestyle and I am very happy.
Hillary has a great personality and really knows her stuff. I am glad she was referred to me and I have since referred several others to Winam Hair Salon.

I moved here from San Francisco where there are many snobby, top-notch hairstylists. The cheapest haircut I could find in SF was $40 with a student stylist at Sassoon. Hillary, the owner of Winam Hair Studio, is nothing short of a mega-experienced pro. How does she charge less than what I was paying students in SF. She must really love what she does. That should say enough. But seriously, this is the BEST haircut I've ever received in my WHOOOOOOLE LIFE! It took me 27 years! She was kind enough to change her schedule around a little bit so I could get a gloss which she recommended over coloring for my damaged ends. The cut itself is exactly what I wanted. And I barely had to say anything when I first got there - she just knew.

I highly recommend Hillary and her staff at Winam Studio. I got my hair cut by Hillary back when I lived in Honolulu about 3 years ago and it was the BEST. HAIRCUT. EVER. I'll never forget how I felt ready to conquer life stepping out of the chair. And you know how sometimes when you take a shower after getting your hair cut you find something wrong? My haircut was FLAWLESS! And it was all thanks to Hillary's sharp eyes and skilled hands. I gotta make my way back there again sometime for sure.
I am SO SATISFIED with what Hilary did with my hair! I had gotten a cut somewhere else and let's just say I got what I paid for. But I went to Winam Studio, and walked away MUCH happier. They did both a cut and color. Hilary gave me a great consultation on what she would be doing and what I would be comfortable with. She also helped me pick out a fantastic color that I'm super happy with. I appreciated that she talked to me and really explained what she'd be doing. I trusted her completely. Cannot recommend this place enough!
